I would take care of debts for myself, family and select extended family.

Endow a number of chairs at various High Schools and colleges.
Buy a Gym facility for the school my kids attend.
Establish scholarships with the parameters of requirements that I feel are important.
Seed money for enterprising individuals who want to start business' but are having difficulty prying money loose from banks.
Buy a lot of foreclosed properties for rental and resale.Establish a bucket list and fulfill that list.
That is a lot of money that many good things can be achieved.

A few months ago there was a burglary in the house across the street from me. The thief, while trying to steal the flat screen TV off the wall, did indeed drop it on his head. However, he didn't die nor get severely injured by it as he did escape without being caught (but the TV was obviously left behind).
