  • F, yes!!!

The will of the Penguins has been broken.

  • I have a feeling that just every game will be just like this. These teams are so evenly matched.

  • I don't know what to say. What an incredible game!! Gonna be a phenomenal series.

once in a while the Goalie needs to steal one. I don't think the Penguin players have any confidence in either the defensemen or the goalie at this point.

I can't believe it went across the crease and no Pen touched the damn puck. Defensmen watching and the goalie floundering. Trust me, I want the Flyers to win but that was just bad hockey by the Pens...

It was broken when the Flyers made it 3-2.

Easy now. The pens are a really good team. They won't die quietly.

One game does not a series make.

After that goal it felt like it would just be a matter of time til we tied and would ultimately win. We absolutely dominated them in the last 2 periods.

  • This series is FAR from over but I'd much rather be on the winning side of this one. This is not a loss that you come back from easily. Still expect this series to go 7.

So was boston when we were down by 3 in the series and 3 goals in game 4

Not happening. 5 times in 7 games, Fleury has blown 2 goal leads to this team. They are clearly in his head. You can see in how he handles the puck, he has zero confidence.

You don't just give up a 3 goal lead and come back like nothing happened. 4 times this year, they've been up by 2 goals to the Flyers, and lost all 4 games. The 5th one they led 2-1 mid 3rd period and lost 3-2

  • All the Pens had to do is dump the puck and get defensive and they couldn't do that! I agree, the flower is nowhere to be found and the Flyers are in his head.

Not sure I would say they are evenly matched. Maybe the Pens have the "stars" in Crosby, Neal, and Malkin but I think the Flyers are deeper. They have more scoring power from top to bottom.

This series will be great all the way to the end. Should have been the Eastern finals.

Ehhh...If you are looking at stats, not really. It is fairly even if you throw out injuries skewing the point totals.

You find out life's this game of inches, so is football. Because in either game, life or football-the margin for error is so small. -Pacino

It's too evenly matched. Even match and hatred equals awesome series. I'm still so excited. One game doesn't change my feeling. Will be am incredible series.

  • Schenn was a beast out there tonight, he has really started to back up the top prospect label as of late. Couturier also completely shut down Malkin, I can't believe how good he is and he is only 19.
I was glad to see that after giving up some goals that Bryz didn't get lost in the woods. Great game.
I was telling my friend that if the Flyers don't trade Carter, Malkin scores or has a big impact and/or Carter misses the OT winner at the end in place of Voracek (also coming into his own).

    Gonna be a great series.

The Pens did that. They played passive, prevent, not to lose and stopped pushing the pace with a 3 goal lead.

Just as they did a few weeks ago up 2-0 and a few weeks before that up 2-0.

MAF has been AWFUL down the stretch withan 850 save pct and over 4 goals against.

  • The Penguins made a lot of mistakes. The Flyers played amazing after the first period, just straight amazing. I'm not saying they got lucky but they definitely stole one last night. Malkin was a complete non-factor. Don't expect every game to be like that though. This was a major wake up call for the Penguins. This one's going to 7 games.

Last nights game has followed the previous 6 to a T.

It was not a fluke game. That is how this seasons games vs Philly have gone. All 7

  • Definitely not a fluke, the Flyers worked their asses off to the win. However, after the 1st period the Penguins played like crap and key players became non factors. Can't really blame Fluery, it was the defense that completely fell off after the 1st.

  • Where are the Penguins of last year who could take a one goal lead and go all NJ Devils on it?

Obviously the key is to let the Flyers score 1st.

The Flyers really didn't play that amazing as you make it out to be. For the last 3-4 mins of the third the Pens made a strong push and looked like it was going to carry over into overtime. But that's playoff overtime hockey for you.

Both teams are capable of playing better. It is just which one is going to be able to enforce its will on the other for an extended period of time in games.
