    I don't know why people call the Flyers a dirty team? We have that broad street bullies tag on us from the 70's. We have always been a physical team, that doesn't take any s**t from anyone. Pre lockout we played with physicality inside the rules. We had our star player career completely derailed, although I don't think the Stevens hit was dirty. Lindros should have skated with his head up.

    maybe it wasnt illegal then, but in todays game it is. It basically the same as hagelins hit on alfredsson earlier this week. Steven's stuck out his shoulder/elbow and the only thing hit hit was Lindros' head... so yes, shoulda had his head up, but definitely didn't get the body

    Some of you (not all) Flyers fans must have started watching hockey fairly recently or live in a complete homer bubble. The Flyers have fielded some of the dirtiest teams in the league in the last 20 years.

    The Penguins have all the talent in the world and they are getting housed by a Flyers team who is playing way better...they are melting down and some stuff has happened as a result.

    Other than the former Flyer, I don't have any real problem with any of the Pen's actions. Maybe the hair pulling...

    Can we all agree that thefonz is an idiot? He obviously has no objectiveness and clearly is low on intelligence. Don't like to be mean to people, but after reading his comments/posts I think it is important to let him in on the fact he has no self awareness and clearly no intelligent self made opinions...stop ur ridiculous posts and realize that yes your team was an embarrassment to hockey yesterday, that most of ur players/coaches should be fined/suspended for the actions because it is not good for hockey, and u as a fan should be embarrassed by ur team....oh btw the flyers "dirty" teams u are talking about was almost 40 years ago bro, get over it idiot.

    lol. While that was a move that someone like Asham, Talbot (not sure if he agitates as much as he used too), Chris Neil, Avery, or etc (or a child) would pull, it was pretty funny. That just goes to show how off the Pens are in this series too for Crosby to be pulling stunts like that.

  • Neil launched himself a good 2-3 feet before hitting Coutuier who didn't have the luck. A decimate suspension coming. The CG hit was even worse. He didn't even try fir the body, he went right fir the head. Disgusting.

    Asham will get 3-5 games, Neil should get a minimum of 2. Adams already got one for jumping in to sVe Crosby(who of course started it). Asham and Adams are no loss for the Pens, Neil will be.

    I believe Neal has already had both of his phone hearings this morning (I wonder if Shanny hung up, called him back, and acted like they didn't just talk a minute ago) , and Asham waived his right to in-person hearing, and will be having a chat via phone call later today.

    Like every single one before it, uneventful for the most part.

    The only issues that ever arise are guys refusing to shake someone's hand (Brodeur ignoring Avery), skipping the handshake because they're pouting (Chelios every time he lost), or skipping the handshake because they'd selfishly rather give an interview (Crosby after the cup win).
