i won't make excuses for Germany in this game but I think the Schweiny injury has been a huge factor in this tournament. He is the most important player on their team and he hasn't played up to his standards.

I thought the trio deserved a start, but back to gomo, poldo, and Kroos, how many f times did he kick ecke balle to rhe Italians who were fore, Germany had no pace after second goal, that was a vlassic break.

No excuses. The defense played like it did all tournament, which was poor for German standards. I was hoping and thought they could just outscore teams but that was not the case. I haven't watched the game, listened to it on ESPN radio, so I can't say much more than that.
