After the ass kicking in the national title game BK took, he realizes he isn't taking ND any farther. Think about this - the number one ranked team struggled with shitty Pitt and should have lost; it struggled with not so good Purdue; it struggled with a pedestrian BYU and couldn't put away a high school team called BC. It went 12-0 with a schedule that appeared on paper to be strong pre-season. The game isn't played on paper and that schedule wasn't that difficult. Michigan was average; Sparty was average I guess; USC sucked. Stanford was very very solid and OU, well, wasn't what it was supposed to be.

After a 42-14 throttling to Bama, he knows he can't take ND to that next level, so why not get out? His stock isn't any higher than it is now.

I don't think Kelly is leaving although I wish he was. Would love to snag a recruit or 2 from them.

Kinlaw, McGlinchey, Butler, Fuller... oh please let this happen.

Listening to them on a phone call, that wouldn't be a surprise. But actually leave...yeah that would be a surprise to say the least. To me anyway.
