Penn State sophomore guard D.J. Newbill lost his mother to cancer last week. Tawanda Roach died on Saturday morning, only a few weeks after she'd been diagnosed.
The entire basketball team and staff are heading to Philadelphia this morning for funeral services.

Life is a quick trip, as those who are nearing the finish line can attest to. Enjoy each day and do your best to lose as much anxiety and negitivity as you can. Oh yeah, Pat Chambers is a class act and so is our B'ball team. I'm proud to be a season ticket holder.
