A drinking town with a football problem.
My favorite was the "it's just a matter of time before these recruits wise up" argument. Rutgers is one of the oldest schools in the country. They played in literally the first college football game ever. Ever! This means that since the absolute dawn of college football, recruits have never "wised up" to the superiority of Rutgers over PSU. I'm not sure what his time frame is for it being a "matter of time," but it must be pretty long.

Who is this Rutgers?
If winning was easy even losers would do it.
When I was in HS my dad explained to me that I could go to Rutgers and graduate with no debt or go to another school. As a legacy, a bloustein scholar and a NJ resident it would have been close to free with my scholarships. After that talk Rutgers became my number 1 choice. After visiting I didn't want to apply.
