I love stats, but all stats have holes and weaknesses. Especially in a game like football, rather than one like baseball for example.
That said:
Offense
Ohio State: 438.63 yards per game, 6.30 yards per play, 43 TDs, 39.00 points per game
Penn State: 406.43 yards per game, 5.14 yards per play, 27 TDs, 28.57 points per gameDefense
Ohio State: 393.38 yards per game, 5.44 yards per play, 23 TDs allowed, 24.25 points per game allowed
Penn State: 322.71 yards per game, 4.76 yards per play, 14 TDs allowed, 15.71 points per game allowed -

I just love my PSU friends, when a OSU person post negative things about our team they thank him for there candor, when they post how we are better you call them delusional, the arrogance of my PSU friends is never surprising, you act as though we should be thankful that we are allowed to play on your field, as if we should pay for the lessons you are about to teach us how to play the game of football. I think this game is rather simple, it will come down to OSU protecting the ball, if we cant get on the plus side of that we lose to PSU, yes our defense has played bad, horrible even, but if you look at our games how many teams win with the amount of turnovers we have had? Stats are great but all that really matters is the scoreboard, and on that end we are PERFECT! That's all that really matters. I will say for all the arrogance most of your posters have, I do love the fact that PSU and OSU have a chance to dominate the Big 10 this year, you know they have to hate that!

I have nothing but respect for the product OSU puts on the field. They will be favored going into this game, and should be based on on-field play this year. It should be a good game, and its a shame that this is set up to be the best game in the B1G all year, including the watered down championship game, and neither of these teams will be able to represent our conference in Pasadena.
This is going to be fun guys. These are the games you are a college football fan for.

So I basically said the samething about PSU and OSU and you said I'm on drugs? I think it's great that both teams are having great seasons, knowing that it is pissing the Big 10 off, also showing how bad the conference is, what an impressive game Michigan had at home against MSU, this is the Big 10 hope that they will represent the Big 10 in a BCS bowl, we have already seen that result!
