I'm very interested in this as well. Seems like he might have something interesting/unexpected to say. Coaches test the waters and interview elsewhere all the time and as far as I know, holding a press conference following that event is not common practice.

I think the idea will be to re-affirm his commitment to the university, and in another sense, it will be a victory ceremony.

Bob's going to explain that he interviewed with the NFL so he could tell them right to their faces to piss off, he is a Nittany Lion for life. Then, he'll invite Craig Fitzgerald onto the stage. They'll rip off their shirts to reveal matching Mauti and Zordich tats on their chests. After doing 100 burpees, he'll end the press conference by punching every member of the media in the face for doubting him.

Great move by BOB IMO. People want to hear him explain his reasoning over the last week, and even though I don't think he'll offer up too much, I think it is very much needed; especially so the damn media can quit painting a negative picture to all our recruits.

Say he never intended to leave; that he is here for the long term regardless of how long the sanctions last; outline some changes he will make to the football operations; &, say he intends to work with the administration and the AD (whoever that may be) to fill the stadium for all games.

Whatever he's saying is either in reference to interviews he took, the changes being made, or in reference to the lawsuit vs. NCAA. He's waited an adequate amount of time and established the necessary credibility to speak freely now.

Part of the reason has to be that we are still in the dead period I believe and this is one way to talk to the recruits about what he is planning and why he stayed.
