O'Brien may very well be the man for this job!

  • After watching his press conference, I was impressed with what he had to say. I know it has too be shown on the field first, but im a believer. He seems to have passion for the game and the pride to restore this reputation.

People are concerned that he may jump back to the NFL and right fully so. Who knows maybe he's stays longer than anticipated. It was his agent that was the one who said that he wants a NFL job.

Idk what kind of offense he plans on running, I wouldn't mind a pro style. Cause I think a pro style offense sells recruits better than a spread offense does. If they have aspirations on making it to that league someday. But then again he did say that they were gonna run a game plan type of offense which is a little concerning.

Im hoping for a pro style that prepares players alot better, to succeed in the pros. Of course we would have to find the right players to fit that system. I know its gonna take some time, and he will struggle, but if he gets the right staff in place we should be able to recruit. Hopefully some top flight players.

  • I actually had the exact opposite opinion of the game plan offense comment. He wants to watch film of the players and determine what they do best and build the offense around the strengths. He is not coming in here with the thought of jamming a square peg into a round hole. He can sell recruits on the type of offense that he wants to transition to in a year or two.
