In another thread (free), they mentioned that it looks like he coached HS in New Jersey (Hillside) and played at UGA before that.

Im hoping that we get someone with OH ties on the recruiting staff/non-active staff. We need to get into OH, as BOB and London have said... Itd be easier with someone with deep OH roots... But I like that he is from NJ, another key state for us.

With the NCAA deregulating the recruiting rules, how many more assistants are schools allowed to add? I know some people are concerned that bigger school with larger budgets will essentially have their own team of assistants devoted entirely to recruiting.

They will....thus why we are adding members to do just that for us. Wouldn't surprise me in the least to see the SEC schools (and OSU) to have 5-6 of these guys specifically devoted to blowing up recruits via social media all hours of the day.
