Disappointing to me. We bring in a guy who played for the best special teams staff in the country. I certainly hoped he would be a big part of the special teams. Guess not.

Haha. I still can't believe that happened. I remember thinking to myself, oh no, who the hell did we hire?!?!?! Obviously everything turned out good but still funny to think of a LB returning kicks.

BOB made alot of mistakes in the first couple games....Hodges returning punts, Derek Day running the ball at UVA, etc.....its to be expected with a first year coach with no previous HC experience. It was awesome to see him progress throughout the year though. He still got whipped by Meyer, but he will learn and will get there. If BOB stays, in a couple years watch out.

I'm sure he'll work into a role with special teams in time. Let him get acclimated to being our DB coach first.

Honestly, mcgloin earned the right to return kicks after his discount double check. That was a bigger disappointment to me than hodges returning them in his place.

According to their facebook page, he was the OC/QB coach of their post grad team.
John Power - Offensive Coordinator, Quarterbacks
In another thread (free), they mentioned that it looks like he coached HS in New Jersey (Hillside) and played at UGA before that.
