No O'Brien post game?

  • Unfiltered his PC would be priceless, but I haven't seen a post of his comments. With his dis no mid field handshake with Pelini did O'Brein skip a post game presser to make a no comment, comment?

    Uh...what?

Pretty sure BOB shook hands with Pelini at midfield. Also did see one of BOB's comments on twitter, so pretty sure his post-game did indeed happen.

  • I missed it on tv then, when Pelini was talking to the press on the field he kept looking around as if to see O'Brien.

  • They definitely shook. The camera followed obrien across the field, they shook hands, then the camera stayed with Pellini for the interview.

  • Unfortunately due to Jeff's surgery, he was unable to make the trip to Lincoln so our postgame coverage won't contain video.

  • Let's see what he thinks after seeing the video.

Head coach Bill O'Brien explains the reason why Matt Lehman's fumble in the end zone was not reversed

Tight end Matt Lehman's fumble in the end zone shifted the momentum away from Penn State. The controversial call was one of many topics on Bill O'Brien's mind after the game.

Very PC. Love the response that we should stick with the team.

  • Ha, O'BRIEN's mouth says it happens, body says bull sh*t. Takes the high road, "I gotta coach better"

In the dictionary where they describe leadership there is a picture of O'Brien, a picture is worth a thousand words.

  • I like that BOB took the high road, listening to the angel on the shoulder.
But i sometimes wish (maybe just once) he would listen to the devil on the other shoulder & say what he really feels - "we got screwed."

Forget the obvious two screw ups on Lehman goalline & MM safety, are you telling me that Nebraska didnt have 1 hold on that toss sweep they ran all day. If oyu only looked at the end on the sweep sifde, you could have had at least 5 holdings alone.

Bob has taken the high road thus far, but I have a feeling he is going to red ass Delaney and crew in the off season for explanations.

    Yep.

Here's what I would have said if I was in OB's shoes:
Well, that's why we have instant replay, right? To correct the calls that are made incorrectly on the field. But, you know, it's not about how I feel. [voice raises] We have a whole team of kids that are busting their butts out there. Keeping their noses clean. Playing hard. [fist pounds table] I don't care if I hear a word from the refs or those guys up there in the replay booth, but they owe a public apology to each kid on this team. And you can quote me on that.
