Next year improvments?

  • Tons of room for improvement starting with beating the better teams in the conference and not losing to a MAC team and separating psu from Temple. Theres plenty of improvements to be made.

  • Is it just me, or has beating Wisconsin made this fool more angry?

As if I needed any more proof that he isn't actually a PSU fan.

new-era said... Psu doesnt have enough to beat the conferences better teams and wiscy is one of them.

These improvements are already in place.

Can you honestly say we definitely lose to OSU or Nebraska with fair officiating? No way can you say that, but not much you can do when it's taken out of your hands.

And, do you honestly think that by now, if Penn State played Ohio, it would be anything but a 30+ point blow out by Penn State?

Come on man, if you're going to flame, at least pick things that are close-to-true enough to get people fired up. This one was weak.

  • Do you hear yourself? Shoulda woulda coulda! Fact is psu lost to a mac team that wasnt that great. Still lost to osu and nebraska. Temple game was very close and a couple better passes and temple couldve won. So theres tons of room for improvement!

In back to back sentences you condemn the "Shoulda woulda coulda" mentality and say Temple "couldve" won with a couple better passes.

    Classic!

The only thing I will say is yes to the OSU game. NU woul dhave been a toss up, we were a much better team by the end of the year than we were at the beginning. Part of the growth process. It isn't flat like some here think it is. The team you start with isn't the team you end up with if you're well coached.

And that's true even without coaching changes or the loss of players a few weeks before the season starts.

Hard to think of where we could improve offensively. Obviously we have a number of backs who can do the job, but ball security was shaky at times. I think another WR will step up and take some of the pressure of of A-Rob. It will be interesting to see the QB situation unfold. Bench is faster than you would suspect and is definitely a threat to run. It would be interesting to see how well he passes. Defensively will be the much more interesting part. Obviously Mike Hull and Glenn Carson will most likely be starters, leaving one OLB position open for battle. I think Wartman takes it and that could be fun to watch because he can lay a hit. In the secondary it will be interesting to see who replaces stephon morris. It will probably be between Da'Quan Davis, Jordan Lucas, and possibly Jordan Smith. Also who will replace Hill, and join the DE rotation. Special Teams will need a huge improvement as well.

Will Wartman be a red shirt Frosh next year?

I'd be surprised if he didn't petition for a medical redshirt. Not sure if he qualifies. I believe he did practice after his injury. Wonder if that would disqualify him.
