I guess I should warn you, if I turn out to be particularly clear, you've probably misunderstood what I've said.
Lots to like about his film, but agree with whoever says he nees to play lower. Also needs a wider base. Would have loved to see more of him going up against that big #74 at the 2:52 mark, just becuase he was going up against so many smaller kids. He certainly gets to second level, and he seems to have some mauler in him.
I wanted also to understand what kind of competion Hershey plays against, so I looked and found it's decent. They beat Cedar Cliff with AB and Andrew Ford 41-20, and some other Mid-Penn teams. But they got clocked by McDevitt 42-0. Any Harrisburg area posters seen him play in person?
Penn State fan as well wonder if he wants to slow things down now that he's blowing up.

WE ARE! And we will always be...
I like the offer. The core of our team should be talented Northeast Prospects. He's a bit raw, but there won't be an immediate need for him to play. If we take 4 OL this class I won't mind him being a part of it.
Mtayl72 likes the offer.
Nelson falls under the "How the heck does this kid not have more offers, maybe I need to go back and watch the film again to make sure I'm not crazy" category of recruits. Athletic, good feet/hands/overall body control. I guess my concern is that he has a somewhat leaner/athletic body type, which is probably why he doesn't move like an offensive lineman. There's nothing wrong a big backside body type when it comes offensive linemen. All the good stuff is of him showing off his overall athleticism, not much of him taking someone head-on and driving them back. Basically, zero concerns athletically, that won't hold him back. How will he fill out physically? Well, they just got a look at him up close and decided that wasn't an issue, so that's a good sign. Interesting kid.
Also, not seeing any issues with him playing too high.
Very interesting offer. Seen this kid play twice last year. Solid prospect for sure. I'm surprised we offered this early but it's an instance where I'll trust the staffs judgement, especially Coach Mac.
