That is not really true. The PSU medical team has been very good. PSU was one of the first programs in major college football and the NFL to look into all the concussions and worked with the helmet companies in trying to create a better helmet. Sebastianelli was very good and progressive and so was the old trainer George Salvaterra.
I am hearing there might be another change coming in the coming weeks or months. Another long term staff member could be leaving. O'Brien is making changes and almost all of the old staff will be gone by the end of spring.

I hope it's not spider....
per the other point.... I think it's true in a lot of areas within the program. This may or may not be one of those areas, but it certainly is true in other areas beyond doubt. I'd be curious why the change was made.... it's not like OB plugged in "his guy".

You find out life's this game of inches, so is football. Because in either game, life or football-the margin for error is so small. -Pacino

Even though I was just cheerleading, Seabass' staff (I didnt see Seabass specifically, but another Dr. who seemed to be from out of the country in Europe somewhere, and Dr. Aukerman) put me through some stringent concussion tests in Lasch back in 2008 for a concussion I had playing football back in prob. 2003-2004 or so (only had 1).. The tests were actually pretty tough, one where they dug these needle like things in my skull all over (hurt like hell, but it seemed to be interns or something doing this portion) and had me hooked up into some virtual reality type machine in one of the back rooms of Lasch. Was actually quite surprised at how serious they were for a concussion I had years ago for an activity like cheerleading. Was also surprised at some of the tech they were using (prob. experimenting on me).
