BTN.com has three proposed divisions for fans to vote on with the addition of Rutgers and Maryland.
Option 1: Add Rutgers to one existing division and Maryland to the other, and re-name both.
Option 2: East/West
Option 3: Inner schools vs. outer schools (picture attached)
You can vote on BTN.com and it says the results will be forwarded to the conference office.
So which do you like best?

I've always like North/South but by my reckoning the teams would be (fartherst North to fartherst South) as follows:
Minn. Wisc MSU UM NW Iowa PSU
Rutgers Purdue Illinois OSU Nebraska Indiana MD
Geographically, however this is not a balanced Conf. alignment power-wise.
I think the Inner/Outter alignment is the most balanced. Especially if you figure the B1G play with the latest expansion is to hook ND. Foreseeably ND is the newest addition to the Inner division with another team (ACC?) joining the OUter Div.

Disagree 100%. Even if it made sense for what was best for the conference (it doesn't btw), I still wouldn't vote for it. With the position that our program is in, we can't afford to be put in a division with both UM and OSU. That would further marginalize us. Kids would think of us like they do Wisky (one of the middle teams in the B1G). We need a few more years like this one (beating up on bad teams and playing 1-2 big games a year) to survive this in the least painful way.

Big 10 North:
Michigan
Wisconsin
Minnesota
Michigan State
Purdue
Northwestern
IowaBig 10 South:
PSU
OSU
Nebraska
Illinois
Indiana
Rutgers
MarylandI prefer the inner outer because I think OSU and Michigan should be in the same division. Makes their game all that more important at the end of the year.
