I am aware, but the way that Bowman grew up and how much of an effect Joe had in his life is what was fresh in my mind.

Yep. Lost another former coach and role model the day before the Rose Bowl and now this after losing his father just two year ago. Hope NaVorro can tear it up tonight. Can't even begin to imagine all of the memories of all of these people flowing through his head right now.

Stuff like this should be pointed out to him...it's not too late. As someone said above their are some good PSU linebackers in the NFL right now (Bowman, Poz, Lee, Connor, Wake, and Tim Shaw who has enjoyed a nice career on ST's...not counting Hali because he played DE in college). OSU...not so much success in the league right now (at LB I mean).
