Cael recruited steel and he has sharpened steel. Cael has brought a champion attitude to Pennsylvania, the nation's #1 wrestling state. I can't thank him, his coaching staff and the wrestlers enough. Thanks to Ira Lubert and the search committee as well.

I'm stoked for tonight's finals. I couldn't be prouder of Nico! What grit to beat two wrestlers that had his number twice this year. McDonough will be a huge favorite though. NCAA finalist as a freshman. Gotta love it.
Hoping for 5-0 tonight but 3-2 is more like it. Toughest matchups will be Amuchastegui v. Ruth @ 174 (both are unbeaten) and Bosak v. Wright @ 184. (Interesting note, both Bosak & Wright are State College natives. Wright's dad put up Quentin and his mother in an apt. in the Bald Eagle Area school district so that he didn't have to compete with Steve). Both are great friends and worked out with each other thru their HS careers.
Tayler "the nailer". 4 straight pins to the Final. If he wins the titles @ 165, he is the Tournament OW!
And finally, congrats to Dylan Alton, NCAA 3rd place medal winner as a RS-Frosh!

P.S. kudos to Cornell HC and State College native Rob Koll for advancing 3 wrestlers to the NCAA finals for the first time in Cornell wrestling history!

Megaludis performed well, but was outdone by McDonough 4-1. McDonough is a 3-time finalst and 2-time champ. I like Nicos future under the tutelage of Sanderson.
