The Lions' Pride

First of all, I wanted to thank everyone for the wedding wishes from the S Zone a few weeks ago. Everything went great and you will be proud to know that I did marry another Penn Stater. However, I’m starting to think I should go away more often since Penn State is 2-0 in games I haven’t watched this year. Nonetheless, it’s good to be back.

As you know we launched text alerts last week on Lions247. If you are an annual subscriber and haven’t signed up for alerts, I encourage you to do so. It’s a great way to stay on top of the news when you are on the go or away from your computer.

If you are a monthly member, I ask that you upgrade your account to an annual subscription. Not only will you receive text alerts to Lions247, but you also save 10 percent. I realize there are some that are hesitant to get locked into an annual, but if you’ve been a member here for a few months or longer, you know what type of coverage Sean, Jeff, Andrew and Cory provide and that’s not changing. Also as I said, if you’re planning on being here for a while, financially it’s the best option.

In addition, if you are a monthly member and upgrade between now and Friday at 5 p.m. ET, we’ll add an additional two months onto your subscription. These two months will be added to the end of your renewal date. With the extra two months and the $12 you save over the course of a year, it’s equivalent to a quarter of a year in savings.

To take advantage of this offer, follow these steps.

STEP 1: Upgrade your account
No. 1. UPGRADE your monthly subscription to an ANNUAL subscription. 

No. 2. Click the "Upgrade" link/tab located at the top right of the site. The upgrade box is marked in green. 

No. 3. Upgrade your account. 

No. 4. After completing the Upgrade process, you will need to sign up for text alerts. 

No. 5. Click on the "Alerts" link located in the horizontal nav under "Settings" (Located in the "My Accounts" section: See above) 

No. 6. Enter your active mobile number where you would like to receive text alerts. 

No. 7. Check the box indicating which specific alerts you wish to receive.
Example: Penn State Football 

No. 8. Click "Save"

STEP 2: Send us an email telling us you completed the upgrade process
No. 1. Email support@247Sports.com and tell Dan that you just UPGRADED your account and would like 2 FREE months. 

No. 2. Please include your Lions247 nickname, email address, first and last name. 

No. 3. Please make sure you receive a confirmation from Dan that your FREE months have been added. 
Note: This is not an automated process. You will have to email Dan to complete the process to get your FREE months. Make sure you get confirmation that your account has been updated.

To our current annual members, we appreciate your support to Lions247. The majority of the network’s annual members came to 247Sports under a similar offer listed above and previously received one or more months free. Our goal has been for everyone to come to the network under the umbrella of a similar/special offer. If for some reason you signed up for an annual account and did not receive a free trial greater than 7 days, we will add 30 days free to the end of your subscription.
