See, I wouldn't. And this is what I was talking about in the other thread that I started. We all have different expectations and thoughts on different coaches. Who someone might consider an "8.0 earthquake," someone else might consider "eh, a pretty decent hire" (gruden, fisher).

Unfortunately the article mentions several offers from other schools. And he will accept after the bowl game. This means he is staying in college somewhere.
Maybe at Penn State when they announce the re-hire of Joe Paterno as head coach. The article did say he would only be an asst at PSU for Joe.

Still hoping it's Peterson. He's been very quite about things, after bowl game kind of not hearing any thing about him. Silence could be good.

Dungy would fit the billing too imo for many many reasons. We are not striving for just a football coach that is accomplished, we are striving for a guy that can rebuild the image as quick as possible PLUS get us back into national prominence. Dungy could do that more than anybody because his character and respect from his peers are off the charts.
I know, I know, I know, its not Dungy. Just saying how he would fit the LO description perfectly as well.

I swear I read early on that we talked with the agent that reps both Stoops and Ferentz, that would make a three team deal that some are speculating possibly doable if one guy can talk confidentially with both.
