This is just crazy.
In *MY* opinion, only Bill Cowher (haha sneaky), Jim Harbaugh, Urban Meyer, and Nick Saban fit that bill -- And obviously JH and UM are 0%.

I don't get the love for Les Miles. I think he is a very good recruiter who surrounds himself w/talented assistants. I don't view him in the same league compared to Saban in terms of actual coaching prowess. When he coached at OSU with marginal talent his results were only so so. Put him in LA with loads of in state talent, and no major in state rivals and all of the sudden the guy looks like a genius. When they played us in the bowl, our staff out coached him which is saying a lot.

Joyner basically blew off lettermen - people like Jack Ham, Franco Harris, Lavar Arrington - whichever lettermen were interested in knowing the progress - . .and monster donors - probably Terry Pegula & others . . . . . .
. . .and he's letting his work - the end product - speak for him.
Joyner can't walk around that cocky & blow off all those people if he shows up w/ even a so-so hire. They'd hang him.
Can you imagine what Pegula would do if Joyner blew him off only to whiff on the hire?
Joyner would be blackballed forever.
Actions speak louder than words here.

agree with your post but i don't think any monster donors like pegula get blown off. i would bet pegula knows.
