What can you guys tell me about the kid? Also why haven't PSU/Pitt offered the in-state kid? What's the feeling from PSU fans on Breneman? Looks like you hired the perfect coach to land the nations best TE. Is the general census PSU followed by ND? What other schools are worth keeping an eye on? Thanks!

For Breneman? Most here will tell you it's PSU then the field. I have heard quite a few other schools as "#2." Not much on news on McGlinchey on our end from what I've seen, but others could better answer.

Thanks, JoePa leaving looks like a blessing in disguise with Breneman. I've seen kids from Cali with offers from PSU when had that ever happened before?

You have to take special looks at guys standing at 6'9. Length is important but so is flexibility, reaction time and leverage. That being said, he looks the part in the picture and has some solid offers so far. Also if they have the points I stated above those 6'9 guys can be special (Jon Ogden was that size).
I've seen absolutely no film on him.

yeah, his hudl account is private, and there is nothing posted to youtube... And nothing on his profile here... Not a member of any other site, so... Maybe someone with a Rivals or FOS account can evaluate...

Don't worry man, Joe leaving the team like he did sucks, but we are a much better coaching / recruiting staff now compared to this time last year... alot of guys wanted joe to retire/get fired pre scandal (I'd say the PSU fans that know football were probably 50/50 on their opinion of Joe)
So yeah Joe leaving was a blessing in disguise when it comes to the team being better, but that doesn't really help with Brenemen a majority of us considered him a psu lean with Joe here.
Edit: Our HC and Co-OC didn't recruit, while our other CO-OC/QB Coach Jay Paterno tried and failed at recruiting in buckeye land... seeing us go balls out on so many recruits this early in the year is more than a breath of fresh air, its freaking awesome and has alot of us here really excited about BO'B

Oh, certainly not a ton, and would be the exception and not the norm. there was usually 1 to a few however. We just never followed through with many resources after those kids. We will see if that changes with the new staff. Most are hoping that is the case.

Wow, seriously? We didn't even post the original link here.
We also promote and recommend 247 constantly at our site. Sean's done a Q&A with us (I'll link that as proof, unless *that* upsets you). And whenever someone asks any of us which of the three pay sites to check out, we always send them here. Always.
Does this policy only apply to non-LaschOut sites?

I think the bigger picture issue is not pimping but actually calling recruits. It seems to me that it gets a little hinky when PSU fans starting calling kids PSU is recruiting.
