I'm stoked the season's almost here. Feels like we've been waiting to see Newbill forever. The key to this season has to be Graham. If he steps up, this team could be competitive in most of their games.

I think .500 is a realistic goal and an NIT birth should be the aiming point IMO. Beyond that, it's all gravy. I don't remember, but is the Big 10 supposed to be down this year, or is it top-heavy, or well-balanced? I've lost touch with the rest of the league beyond Penn State.

I think many have the B1G as possibly the top conference this year. Pretty deep and solid teams at the top.

Yeah, I don't think PSU will win a whole ton, but keeping games close should definitely be possible. The key for this team is winning the non-conference games this year.
The starting squad should be alright with Graham, Travis, Marshall, Newbill, and Frazier.

We were not even close to winning a single B1G road game last year, iirc. Keeping things close away from the BJC would be a start. Winning a few more home games is necessary to feel like progress is being made, obviously as well - that NW game still stings.
