McQueary's testimony...

  • I don't know if I used the word intercourse with my father, but he definitely knows what happened in the shower.

    WTF?

  • Since that night, never saw Sandusky in the locker room, but did see him in Lasch.

Even if I believe every word of this testimony, I don't understand what happened in the shower.

    POV

  • I saw a lot of the boy, but not all of him. The boy's feet were on the floor. He was in an upright position, not bent over. Not able to give accurate hair color...it was wet. Not able to give an accurate height. "No way without a measuring tape".

  • No facial hair or body hair. Didn't stare at pubic area, but didn't think he saw pubic hair. Doesn't know if Sandusky had an erection. "I don't look and stare down there."

Cannot say that he saw JS's hands on the boy's genitals. Joe said he needed to think and contact other people, would get back to McQ.

That sounds like a cover up to me. That's not good.

  • Was not part of a criminal investigation at PSU. Knew PSU had uniformed PD. New saw Schultz in uniform or carrying a firearm.

  • On why he didn't call the police himself...it was delicate in nature and I tried to use my best judgment in my opinion. Schultz's lawyer...'So your best judgment was leaving the naked boy in the shower with Sandusky?' McQ...I was sure the act was over.

    Wow...

You're out of your mind if you are reading all of the updates. If there is a coverup...it's the two others who have been charged, but that may just upset you I guess.

  • I don't really think he is doing all that poorly (definitely not great). It's a tough situation, but it's very important to be clear and he isn't doing great in that aspect.

Solely based off this thread, seems like he is trying to say he didn't see the sexual act but would have been crazy to think that wasn't taking place. Seems to think he didn't need to tell Curley/Schulz that he explicitly saw sex in order for them to realize that took place.

  • It was clear to me that the act was sexual.

I'm totally confused on what happened in that shower.

All I can gather is that Jerry was in there, with a boy and they were both naked and alone. Even if nothing sexual in nature was going down, child services should have probably been notified. If for nothing other than a CYA measure to assure PSU wasn't going to wind up in this situation one day.

  • Observer says Mike has been very firm in his responses despite tough questions. Hasn't waivered physically or verbally.

can you clarify this typo? Does this mean he "knew he saw Schultz in uniform or carrying a firearm" or "never saw Schultz in uniform or carrying a firearm."

    Appreciate the updates, tdiddy.

    POV

  • Just from reading rather than paraphrasing...

My summarization of McQ's shower experience...
    - Heard slapping noises in the hallway
    - Walked into the locker room
    - Through a mirror, saw the boy and Jerry in the shower
    - Boy was upright, positioned against the wall, may or may not have had hands against wall
    - Jerry was directly behind the boy with his arms wrapped around him
    - McQ went to take a closer 2nd look
    - At that time, JS and the child were separated.
    - Both made eye contact with McQ
    - Mike, in his own judgment, determined the act was over and left the scene
    - McQ was in the room for 45 seconds-1 minute
    - He didn't notice an erection from Jerry, nor saw insertion. The boy didn't utter any cry for help.
    - He also never saw JS touching the boy's genitals or vice versa

  • I only read a bit of the BSD open thread about it, but I thought MM said he didn't hear slapping sounds. That he didn't hear anything from JS or the boy - just the shower running.

  • McQ says he saw Schultz serve as administrative police on other occasions, so he thought that talking to him was the equivalent of talking to the police.

While I agree Joe was not part of a cover-up..............it is still possible even with what Joe said. He could have called the other two and said "listen, MM told me this...we are going to come to you because we need him to know I took it a step further since he came to me. Then you guys have to figure out something from there and squash it."

I don't believe that is what happened, but it's possible given what MM has said so far.

I consider the source of the post. You look at everything MM said about Joe and what happened...it's a bit of a stretch. Not to mention the GA not really going after Joe.

  • Did I read correctly on a twitter update that McQ said he saw Schultz organizing police during a riot?

Not saying Joe was part of the cover-up perse.

Just saying, McQ goes to Joe. Joe says, hang on tight I'll get back to you - let me talk to these other guys. McQ meets with them several days later. At worst it's a cover-up at best it's horrible judgement

  • I've never been in a situation quite like that, but man... How do you just walk away...

I get how disturbing and shocking it would be... But how?
