MM: more comp, yds and TD's & less ints than Johnny Football.

Yes they are better. More completions, yards and TD's and less picks, which are the core QB stats. Yes, Manziel is also a great runner, but McGloin has better QB stats

  • Two completely different qb's. Not sure Manziel would have McGloin's numbers in our offense and pretty sure McGloin would look like the McGloin of old in their offense. All that really matters is that McGloin was a damn good quarterback for us, in our offense, against our opponents. Everything else is apples to oranges.

Here's an interesting comparison of two qb's with similar skill sets in similar offenses:

    Barkley: 246/387, 63%, 3273 yds, 36 tds, 15 ints, 157.6
    McGloin: 251/401, 61%, 3071 yds, 23 tds, 5 ints, 140.6

....pretty interesting considering one was a preseason Heisman favorite and the other was a loathed former walk on with a bad attitude and limited skill set.

And as LaJolla mentioned, one of those two (the one who's last name isn't McGloin) has two freaks for WRs. Oh, and a stud RB that wears number 25. :-)
