    Ranked? Not by a long shot - most power ratings have them BELOW us and we're about 50 out of 59 (e.g. we're 49 in the RPI, Michigan State is 51).

    Well, they still have #10 St. Cloud and UNO for a pair each and then the WCHA play-offs, but you are right. This could have been the death nail unless they go on a run that I'm not seeing now. They might have to win the whole F'in thing in the WCHA to get in.

    That is nine NHL draft picks and McCabe, Kerdiles and Ramage were either first or second round picks IIRC

    This may have been the worst Michigan State team in a while. Hell, if the BIG was a conference this year, PSU could have finished second or third. Wisconsin hasn't played well; Michigan is terrible this year, same with Sparty and OSU ...

  • This was the first game I've watched and I guess I picked a good. PSU seemed much faster than Wisc. but Wisc. generally had better puck control and won a lot of the battles until late in the 3rd and OT. Skoff was awesome and single handedly kept them in the game even with the soft goal I thought they were going to score several times. Great way to end the year and they will have a great following at PSU next year with the new areana. Hope to see many more games next year.

    Michigan is terrible, but 6-1 against B10 teams - specifically because they are 4-1 against MSU and 2-0 against Ohio State and haven't played anyone else.

    2. Minnesota 4-1-1
    3. Penn State 3-2-0
    4. Wisconsin 2-3-1
    5. Ohio State 2-3-0

  • What a phenomenal win last night. I was sitting there watching the game and when we got down 2-0 I thought we were going to fall a part like the previous night and just start giving up more goals. That wasn't the case. Skoff played incredibly great all game long. Our offensive attack definitely picked up in the 3rd period and we just never gave up...kept on fighting. What a way to end our inagural season in Division I.
