Hi Everyone,
I have been lurking on the board since last fall (signed up for the VIP membership in December), I have really enjoyed everyone's perspective on PSU football and recruiting. After signing-up for the bracket challenge, I thought it was time to become more active in the discussions.
I have been a "draftnik" for years and have only recently switched following PSU recruiting hardcore (except reading write-ups and class reviews after National signing day). I am just starting to catchup on highlight tapes of the guys that we are targeting.
I hope we have a real chance with Anthony Averett - he shows great instincts on defense and breaks on the ball well especially for taller DB. The top notch athleticism is just icing on the cake.
I can't wait to talk PSU recruiting and everything else PSU with you guys!

Yes, I am a PSU Alum stuck in Columbus and it does suck. I think one of the best quotes from a buckeye fan was that Jared Sullinger was 6'11" haha.
However, in good news, I converted my girlfriend to PSU fan and she wears PSU gear to work all the time (She works at OSU Medical Center, which makes it soo much sweeter)!

Yeah, luckily, I always seem to run across pretty respectful buckeye fans. I wear my PSU gear to the gym and I was worried that I would run across an a-hole that would make a comment (especially since the JS stuff). However, no word yet.
The media coverage of the buckeyes, however, makes me want to puke.

sorry to hear that your stuck in columbus, i have cousins that went to osu and are currently attending, as well as family that lives there, needless to say when AB commited many a text went flying from one smart phone to another...im new as well, so i welcome you, but you have actaully been on this site way longer then me, so im confused on to say welcome, or just keep pondering other options. aaaaannnnnnnnyyyyyyywwwwwaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy i am excited for current freshman jordan lucas and hopes he is a star CB along with Amos...two 6 footers with some weight to them can hopefully keep those wide receivers at bay with the new bump system we plan on running with ol Red Roof
