Bolden fumble on a great blitz by NW. Brought 2 LB's - Royster picked up the a-gap blitzer, b-gap blitzer came free. Bolden has to see him but that's what happens when you get creative with your blitzes - Penn State could learn a lesson from that play.

McGloin throws incomplete to Brackett on final play of 1st quarter, had Moye open down the field. Brackett should have made the catch.

It seems to me they are way more conservative when Bolden is in for some reason. why don't they move Bolden around like they do McGloin? They expect Bolden to just drop back and sit in the pocket behind this O-line?

Sean, whats the word on Bolden? Injured or benched?

He got blasted on the blitz that caused the fumble. No word if the switch is injury related.

Pure speculation but I would guess Bolden was shaken up on the fumble - because that was only 2 possessions and the offense was moving the football. I'm not sure Matt Senneca even got that quick of a hook.
