Good morning from the press box at the Beav!!
Warm, sunny day. The players are going through warmups and man, even from way up here, it looks surreal to see the names on the Penn State jerseys. Going to take some getting used to. I'll post a few observations on the scene from here. Sean and Andrew are on their way to the sideline to chat up recruits.

Still a lot of empty seats here at 11:30 but crowd is filling in quickly. Student section taking shape as well as can be expected for a noon kick.
As for the atmosphere, we're getting a heavy dose of 80s metal, and it is LOUD. My 61-year-old mother said this morning she was looking forward to hearing "less loud music" and I kind of looked at her. At least she had some Bloody Marys before the game.

He has a brace on his left knee. Officially, there are no injury updates with him, said a team spokesman.
He was moving decently and hitting pretty much everyone in the numbers in warmups, incidentally.

Ten minutes to kick and a lot of pockets of empty seats, especially between the 20s toward the top of both the east and west sides and, of course, the student section.
Will be interesting to see if final number cracks six figures.
