For a kid of Laurent's size I would have to think he carried some bad weight if he's losing weight at this point. Either that or his work ethic is not up to snuff. I hope to see him start making some gains over the spring. I think Schwan made some good gains considering he battled mono, I believe, last fall.

Smith and Jones are huge.... Jones has always been pretty athletic and with that kind of weight to throw around he should be a force in the middle. I'm not surprised to see Urschel down to 300. He's a guy that probably would drop to below 250 real quick if he got away from training. I had a friend that played LT at Princeton and at about 6'4" he played a little over 300lbs. As soon as he was done with football he shed weight like I could only dream of... he was down under 240 within a couple years.
We have to keep in mind that players generally weight the most in August and then shed weight throughout the season. Unless a player is specifically trying to trim down, I'd expect most of the guys that lost weight to be slowly getting back to the Aug 2012 weights between now and August.
