Last time PSU had a TE with such a low number, he had a pretty good season (Quarless). Interesting to see James slim down some. Smith is a monster.

Re Laurent, if it's not a typo and something weird isn't going on, might it be that he was carrying some bad weight and they needed to break him down before building him back up? I hope it's just a typo.

Thanks for the breakdown, Jeff.
Some of the players who lost weight are a bit baffling. Wendy Laurent losing 10 pounds? Zanellato seems like someone who shouldn't be losing weight. Blanchard is a bit odd, but still has enough weight that it's no big deal.
Some of the weight gains are nice to see. Lynch...I'm just really excited for him to get on the field.
I don't think Schwan's weight is that bad, actually. Gained 15 pounds already and in college weakside DE's can still work at 238. He could contribute at that weight, though obviously I'd like to see him continue gaining over the next couple of years.

It is good to see progression of some form. I can not believe how much difference it seems to have made in the OL. I guess either kids are getting naturally bigger or the program is evolved into more focus on personal development.
