ARob has another year like last year he'll go. Kid is still very young and already being highly productive. Great size, good athleticism. He'll be a 1st or 2nd round pick depending on how he does at the combine. Kid would be crazy not to go. I wrote him off of my 2014 depth chart a long time ago.

Is he a sure fire 1st round pick though? I think his speed will hold him back, it seems the trend in the NFL these days is to draft speed at WR in the first round regardless of stats in college... I think he would make an excellent possession reciever at the next level opposite a legit #1, some GM with a good qb will be smart to take hiim in the second if available..

He will not be a 1st rounder, not fast enough. NFL is all about speed and size. See the GT recievers that were drafted after Megatron. You'd never heard of them. They tested well and became 1st rounders. This year- cordale Patterson, the 3rd best reciever on his own team, will likely be the 1st reciever taken- speed and size

I feel like he could run a 4.5 40 or in the 4.4's.
He sits around 200 pounds now, if he gets up to 215 he and runs a 4.5 and maintains productivity he will be fine.
He will be competing with Lee, Watkins, and a few others so a deeper draft class could hurt him or we could see 4 or more WR's taken in the draft in 2014.
And you are kidding yourself if you think he was the 3rd best receiver on his own team this year.

How in the hell do you say Patterson was the 3rd best receiver on his team? Do you watch college football? It was his first year in the program. He had over 1850 total yards and 10 TD. You could easily see, despite the erratic QB play of Bray, that Patterson was the best WR during the 2nd half of the season.
If winning was easy even losers would do it.

Watching A-rob play and you can see he is fast, but I believe his elite talent is his agility. He is a quick twitch guy ... evidenced on many plays this past year.
Agility and acceleration are more critical than a 4.3 40, IMO.

Size + speed is the main thing. I don't know if Robinson would quite be a 1st round pick, but if he can show he's got speed, then he'll be close.
I wouldn't be shocked if Robinson left, but I wouldn't call him crazy if he stayed. The first thing I'll mention is age. IIRC, Robinson was 16 when he graduated high school. He'll have played 3 years at PSU, so that would make him 19 going into the draft. That is young. Too young, IMO. Amobi Okoye was the last 19-year old to go and he's been a huge bust. It may not seem related, but Andrew Luck passed on entering the draft as a RS Sophomore. I think a big part of that was because he knew that QB's who leave after their RS SO year don't do well in the NFL overall. Getting just one more year in college makes a significant difference.
Second, a degree and/or college experience. Some kids enjoy college a lot and/or want to stay to get their degree. I wouldn't call that crazy, just like I wouldn't call a kid crazy for not graduating early from HS to go to college. You only get that experience once, so enjoy it.
I know the reasons to go to the league. Whatever choice he makes, there will be legitimate reasons behind that decision.
