Do u guys think his rating should be higher? I don't put much into stars but I was wondering and I was wondering if he was a plan b guy and was offered when the linebacker recruiting wasnt looking so hot. Anoter question is why isn't Stevenson ranked and what do u think his rating will turn out to be because I personally think his film is great and should easily be a four star guy? Thanks everyone

I will reserve my comments regarding Bell for a later date. IMO, this offer/verbal did what it was intended to do - cause urgency for some of these linebacker recruits to shit or get off the pot. There have been 19 LB types offered and until last night, no verbals. PSU staff preferred Bell over Brown and knew if offered, it would get him. Possibly going from zero verbals at LB to three in a week isn't by accident.

Does anyone think that one of the Florida guys (Deeb or Stevenson) will pull the trigger just to hold a spot, since their culture is one of soft verbals, anyway?

Even if they did, if I were the staff, I wouldn't accept it until they at least visit. You don't want to have a bunch of soft verbals.

I don't think Stevenson would - he has TAMU and FSU as potential options in his top 3. As far as Deeb, PSU is his best option at this point so he might be more likely if the staff still wants him.

Yeah, I don't think the staff is worried about it at all, I was just trying to say why recruiting services seemed to ding him on it.
