No we are getting some depth. Bench Whipple and Ferguson for the spring and Hack in the fall.

Jake Waters was a "nice have". Tyler Ferguson is a "must have". And the fact that TF "wants" to be a Penn Stater w/o a doubt is a better get than a waffling JW.

Congrats all around! Coach O'Brien and staff are proactive and cutting edge. At least second young man to commit w/o setting foot on campus. Kudos staff! 2nd ranked Juco QB + blue chip QB recruit + solid QB prospect w/one year in + this staff = 1 (or more) rising stars for 2013 and beyond! Let the competition begin. (After LOI day)

The party line has been that the seniors deserved a lot of playing time for sticking around. MM being a senior, OB never took him out.

Great job by the staff to completely turn over the qb position in the span of two classes and demonstrate their ability to coach through the progress that MM made in the offseason. Keep up the great work! From MM, PJ, and RB to Bench, Ferg, and Hack. Wow.

There's a video on Scout where he talks about going to the Elite 11 camp. He apparently meant the regional camp, so the mod must have mistook that for the final Elite 11.
