I feel bad for Coach Johnson. It must be hard to have to deal with these things as players look to you and one of your kids just can't seem to get it together. Sometimes you can do everything right and nothing can change what is.

I always thought it was funny all these recruits come in here and love and respect LJ and say he's like a father figure when LJ did a pretty shitty job raising his own kids. AS long as he's coaching up the d-line, getting production and landing big recruits I don't care... I just always thought it was interesting.

My children have children, so if you're a new father or not a father yet, I wouldn't be so quick to knock the job of any parent. I've seen terrific parents "lose" their kid(s), and on the flip side I've seen kids grow up alone in many respects and turn out just fine. It takes luck, the Lord, and patience. Well wishes to anyone with little ones going forward.

Well stated, tomdee. I have nothing to add except a word of support for LJ. Mainly, I just want people to see what you wrote and think about it.

LJ, Jr. always played with intensity and a chip on his shoulder. Even in highschool (binging a gun to class) this dude has had some serious anger-management issues. He's an angry kid with a serious chip on his shoulder and who knows why. I think he's got some serious mental issues that have gone untreated. You can't blame the parent(s) for a mentally ill son. LJ, Jr. needs some serious mental help, IMO!
