That example took 10 seconds to find after a "Lane Kiffin Sleaze" google search. 10 more seconds than I would like to have wasted doing a search on Lane Kiffin.

If Kiffin is scum for trying to recuit a Penn State player, then the same can be said for just about every coach in the country. The only difference is that Kiffin is a good enough salesman to pull it off.

Only part of this that bothers me is that Kiffin will yank someones scholly or the chances of that kid meeting eligibility requirements just went to 0%.

Did I miss something or did the NCAA decide not to allow roster exemptions for players that transfer from Penn State?

Schools under sanctions cannot go over their limit.

We need to stop bashing Redd. If you want to bash Kiffin, fine. But USC fans have been pretty cool here. I think if you were a soph. rb with Redd's ability, you might want to play for a chance to play in the Rose bowl or a NC. We can be disappointed that he isn't staying, but not at his decision.

Why are all the people with 50 and 100 post coming here preaching to us on how we should feel and what our actions should be.

Don't really like any coach going after recruits in this situation unless the recruit reaches out to the school first, but I think it is hypercritical to trash Kiffin in this instance.

From all reports, he let your coach know he was going after Redd. He isn't going after just any player to spite PSU (Dooley did that when USC players could transfer penalty free). He is going after the only player that can impact our roster in the biggest area of need. Some coaches out there have offered almost everyone of your players and seem to be ambushing them. NOW those coaches are SCUM IMO.

Your coach was scum before he want after redd. Go ask the other schools he ran from. USC fans although some have been nice need to go back to there board because they were pissed when players were being targeted from there team.

No major violations at TN and less then at FL and other SEC schools during the same period. Who knew Carroll would go to the NFL two weeks before LOI day, and Kiff's dream job would open up. Even the reports of recruiting TN commits is inaccurate: The coaches called and informed all EEs at TN to let them know they were leaving , first hand, rather then hear it from other sources, but somehow a couple of TN posters ( I could name them but will not)stated unnamed sources and it went viral; even the players involved said it was not true. TH is like a spurned lover, they can't understand why anybody would leave them for anybody else. If he had been a failure there, there would not be a peep of him leaving. I have spent too much time in Knoxville to not separate fact from fiction. Other then TN fans all the schools that Kiff has coached have held him in high regard, and the only Raider person (of course the most important) that bad mouthed him was Al Davis; the coaches and players liked and respected him.

Yes, I am a Trojan homer, but Kiff informed the PSU AD he would be contacting Redd and only Redd before he did. Do you realize how many other schools contacted Redd: seven at last count, including the loudest screamers: GA and TN. And he certainly didn't camp out at Happy Valley with his coaching staff ala Illinois.

The reason the USC involvement has legs, is Joe Schad has been reporting it faithfully since day one why other schools contacts have been under the radar>if he comes USC will welcome him, if he stays at PSU, USC will still cheer him on.

And believe me, USC's penalties , though heavy, do not compare to what PSU has just received, but USC and its fans can understand the outrage and frustration that you are feeling right now.
