Kiffin is not to blame. Silas didn't need to answer his call (IF Kiffin even initiated the contact). Hack turned his phone off.

For making his team better? For (possibly) making his team better? He broke no rule. He didn't go prey outside of Silas' apartment. He recruited a payer eligible to be recruited.

It's a B.S. punishment handed down from an unethical organization. When we (USC) had coaches poaching our players, most of us felt collectively violated, but the core of guys that stayed ended up becoming a really tight-knit group. I guess my point is, suck it up and hope for the best. 65 total scholarships is a tough number to have to deal with, but with effective recruiting, you'll weather this storm.

And one more thing, criticizing Lane Kiffin as a sleaze ball makes you look ignorant. He's a good salesman, but it's not that hard to recruit for a school like USC, all things considered.

hopefully when our sanctions are lifted someone else will be getting new sanctions. this way we can go recruit 20 or 30 players from that school and be back at 85 right away.

If he left USC for Tennessee in the same fashion he did and did exactly what he did relative to recruits, I would think you would call him a sleaze. What he and Orgeron said to the recruits wasn't exactly kosher with me. It's not making one look ignorant if you call him a sleaze. His actions in the past speak volumes. I don't mind USC as a program, but think PC and LK aren't ethical at all.
