LionInWintet or should I call you ken Frazier If you are so sure. Ask him why the fuck he said this
The tape they showed of BOT member Ken Frazier (CEO of Merck and the one who recommended hiring Freeh) at the press conference: "There is no question that what the report finds is inexcusable failures on the part of Joe Paterno and others to protect children."
The BOT, and freeh used JVP to get the pressure off them. That is why they fired spanier. He would have fought this tooth and nail
"One man didn't build this program and one man sure as hell cannot tear it down."

Spoke to Ken for 30 minutes today. 1) "Joe Paterno is a great man" 2) "The people around Joe failed him." After meeting with Joe the administrator discussed suspected child abuse with an attorney. 3) Does not expect an acquittal
Freeh report: Informed those in charge that they were "abdicating" their responsibility by not scrutinizing the Freeh report before releasing it to the Public.
Sanctions: Confirmed Erickson was threatened with the Death Penalty.
Ken Frazier. 1)A Fighter. The most passionate and intense man I have met, easy to see why he has been successful at every level. 2)Straight shooter. He did not mince words or speak in politically correct terms, the exact opposite. 3) Extraordinary memory and recall of details. Reminded me of Joe in that Respect. 3) loves Penn State 3) Never removed a picture of Joe from his office. 4) Son was accepted to Penn State and U of Penn. Emphatically advised his son to attend Penn State. 5) Would love to see him as President of PSU. 6) Invited me to see his handwritten letters from Joe.

Honestly I don't understand why the trustees continue to serve. I mean besides the fact that probably over 90% of PSU alumni want them gone. Why do they want to continue to subject themselves to the constant criticism and ridicule. These are mostly all wealthy successful people and I just don't see the incentive for them to continue to serve on the BOT. You would think they would realize it is in everyone's best interest and just resign.
