any chance we offer him? I have said all along we need two DT's....and he seems like he could be a 3 tech DT and he is in the state of PA. If we do offer, you think we have a good shot?

What worries me about him is that this time last year he was widely considered to be a 4 star prospect and top 15 DT in the nation. Now he seems to have taken a pretty serious dive in rankings by all the recruiting sites, telling me that he is not as impressive as once thought. If PSU is to take a 2nd DT in this class, he must be elite.
Upon further review, it looks as though 247 still has him fairly highly ranked, so I guess my arguement doesn't apply to this site.

I was just about to say that. Moody was on everyone's watch list a year ago, but now it looks like he will ultimately end up with just local offers and will probably end up a low 3 star. I'm not sure what the issue is with him, but his stock drop is one of the biggest I have seen.

He reminds me of that WR from Virginia a few years back that was preseason Rivals 250 and then ended up at Hofstra or something.

Would have been even more of a letdown if he was a 2009 recruit, Hofstra ended their program following the 2009 season.

Since we passed on Hurst and a couple others, it certainly looks like Vanderdoes or bust.
