Will be interested to see Gemrich's upon further review. CJ owes a part of the Defensive accolades to Cadogan. He olay'd a couple of times on sacks. Reviewed a couple of plays to watch Shrive. Looked good on the couple of running plays I watched getting to the second level.

Shrive impressed me from what he had been showing his first 3 seasons. I didnt know it was him actually, thought it may have been Kolb (still getting used to numbers). The problem is I thought he was a RS FR not a RS JR, and thats a big deal. He also got bent over backwards on his first or second play, like Pannell last year.

How do you develop consistency? Splitting reps 3 ways? 2 ways? BOB needs to make a decision as soon as possible and stick with it and not let it drag on like Joe did last year.

    i don't disagree.

  • Amos looked good out their, has great instincts and Belton is going to be a great weapon on offense. QB play was pretty shaky though, every time Bolden was under pressure he just threw the ball up for grabs. Oh and Allen Robinson has one bright future.

  • Thanks MTay. What did you think of Miles D?

Given the situation, splitting reps in the spring was the prudent thing to do.

Now O'Brien will figure out who the best TWO are heading into August and let them battle it out for the starting spot.

No need to be so worried...

Completely agree for spring ball. But if they split reps until the last week of training camp, we're in trouble

That was Hill that lit him up on the second play of the first series. I was impressed with him from what we have seen in the past. He was going up against Hill and Jones for most of the early part of the game. Thought he did pretty well. I am concerned with Urschel a little. Doesn't appear to have a lot of force at the point of attack. Gress got tied up a couple of times, seemed to be reaching and a little stiff. I think he can handle speed coming to the outside but may struggle with stunts/bull rush. That being said, worlds of improvement from him. I think we'll see Farrell get some work over there come fall. Very thin at OT. Miles D is an AA in waiting along with Smith.

  • Without having the ability to watch practice, I like what Jones brings to the table the most.

McGloin is solid, but will make mistakes and has limitations.

Bolden needs a fresh start. IMO, he is running third right now in terms of what he can do in live action.

  • Based on the last two spring games jones as shown he has some major tools (70 yard bombs) and seems to be getting better with his awareness in te pocket. Hopefully he continues to improve and earns the starting spot
