Just ready for Football Already

  • Im so tired of this offseason, like many other are. I just wish the guys that were going to transfer would do it already. Let see who are Warriors are and lets go play some ball. Im ready to cheer, here the Blue Band, bitch at bad third down calls, Argue who should be starting where, complain about the refs, celebrate touchdown, cringe at big hits, listen to the pre game show, watch the Penn state football story, be pissed all week after a loss, be happy all week after a win, rewatch the game sunday afternoon with my Dad, Have friends over to Party in my Penn State bar room, opening kick off, sacks, touchdown,field goals,buzzer beaters,MAUTI AND HODGES killing people this year.... You all get the point

    Can Football Season get here PLEASE...

  • Aren't you guys NFL fans too? I try to have a perfect balance between college and the NFL, but I think this season, I may be leaning a tad bit more towards the NFL(at least in terms of excitement).............and for obvious reason NOT related to the PSU sanctions.

  • I'm an nfl guy to but PSU is my passion, even with the depleted talent I still look forward to the games. Just so I can stop worrying about who's staying and who's going. We can look at our depth chart and start talking about X's and O's vs all this other BULLSHIT We have had to talk about that last two weeks.

    If Day is who the strting running back is then so be it let the kid strap it up and lets see what he's got. I just want to talk football and not all this other crap.

    Why? I was a fan through the dark years, and this team has a lot more talent currently (and incoming) tan those teams ever did.

    I'm also just happy we will HAVE a season. The thought of having no PSU football....

    Now THAT was a sickening feeling.

    Dude... I was actually happy when that happened. Before we used rubin, we couldn't even get a first down.

    So brutal back then. I don't think people realize how bad we were.

    We lost to Toledo. That was a bad day.

    I remember sitting in the 3rd row the day of the 6-4 fiasco. That's when we had things like "scare a badger, wave a towel."
