    Simple answer to that most kids in the South are SEC men but doesn't mean they all end up in the SEC even with the offers.

    Would you stop defending this kids honor or all of the south already. Bottom line is you are saying it's because of Roof and most here don't buy that. Quite a few on here said he was gone the day he got his USCe offer based on HIS comments. It will probably be the case...so deal with it. Stop trying to use absolutes with recruiting as there is no such thing. Bottom line is he will visit to USCe and commit there unless they fill up ahead of that. You can try and play the why game if you feel you have to.

  • I feel like there are more football schools in the south and more highly ranked football players or players in general from the south.

    This could add to why more decommittments, etc occur from the south.

    If winning was easy even losers would do it.

    If you noticed I don't care about that stuff at all.. I live in the South nut I am from California, San Diego to be exact. So again I could care less about that.

    Listen..I don't care if you are from Libya or Mexico..Any info you have concerning Walton is appreciated by most all of us..Thanks and if you hear anything else let us know..

    And by the way, I wish every top prospect from PA would feel the way the southern kids about the SEC, and say an offer from PSU=Im in!!

    We didn't need him to tell us that. His comments alone painted that picture which is fine. A kid wanting to stay closer to home is sometimes a part of the deal. Just stop acting now as if Roof was the clincher...it was done ahead of that IMO.

    If distance is a factor and he's an "SEC guy," how does south vs. north not factor in? Him being from the south directly relates to this decision. Him being from the south may not make him "less of a man of his word," but it's certainly a major factor in why he's probably switching.

    I said he would consider a place closer to home if things are to work out... It has a lot to do with Roof, again I just talked to here about it... If Roof stays chances are GREAT for Walton to stick to PSU, he was the connection to PSU..

    Again that is your opinion and not a fact as you are trying to indicate.. Losing Roof hurt with Walton, without Roof a flip is much higher, this is coming from his mother... With Roof PSU chances of keeping were high. I am not saying with Roof he doesn't flip, just telling you guys that his mom said losing Roof hurt PSU in keeping him...

    This all seems off topic. The question is whether Roof or the remaining PSU defensive system is an ideal fit for Walton. To me, nothing changes but the loss of a guy Walton had a good relationship with. Everybody else stays. Vanderlinden is perhaps one of the best linebackers coach in the nation, with a proven record of developing guys and getting them NFL ready. This is not going to change based on the DC.
