Jon 'Bones' Jones

  • I was never a really huge fan of UFC, but I have been enjoying it more and more. And the main reason for it is Jon "Bones" Jones. This guy is just a phenomenal fighter. He has the potential to be the Michael Jordan of his sport.
The stuff he throws at people is pretty wicked ..-super man punch-,-flying knee kick-,-forward elbow,-backward elbow- ,it is kinda like watching a video game fighter sometimes...

If you never watch UFC,try watching him sometime.. If not a great fighter, he is definitely on his way towards being one

  • Guy is arguably the best fighter in the game right now, GSP is the only guy who may be better.

  • I actually went to this fight tonight and had a blast. The crowd was interesting to say the least, but it was a hell of an experience.

  • Watched my first full UFC fight tonight, and god was it boring - obvious that Jones is excellent, but Evans was in total defense mode - BORING. The other portions of UFC I've watched had guys on the mat for extended periods of time with another guys junk in their face - nothing yet to convince me that it's better than boxing....

  • The fight was disappointing to say the least. Typical Greg Jackson cornered championship fight where the guy that should have dominated the fight and finished it early was not aggressive. Hopefully Jones doesn't become as boring to watch as GSP.

  • I think more along the lines of Silva. Holding the belt is priority #1. They will do enough to win the scorecard but won't open themselves up to risks. No way guys are scoring on Jones. Last night was def not an active bout but those two knew each other so well. Best part about Jones is he's originally a Rochester kid!

  • He has cleaned out his division so now I think they should give him a fight with Anderson Silva who has fought at 205 before or let him fight some of the heavyweights. It's scary for a kid to be that good at just 24 years of age.

There is a good chance that he did not want to embarrass an old training partner that taught him for several years. But at the end of the day he is a professional and his goal should be to finish every fight.

Considering he pulled guard at the end of the fight on Sat, that obviously wasn't his goal.
