I'm not going to argue Wisconsin's success with OL in the NFL. However, how much can Chryst take credit for them? The OL coach is gone, his S&C coach is from NC State, not Wisconsin. Since when can the OC take credit for developing those OL?

I don't think Chryst can take credit for the olinemen. They were good before Bostad/Chryst and will be good after. My response wasn't regarding Chryst. Only Rudolph can take credit for sending TEs to the league. He'd also make an excellent Oline coach. Chryst can take credit for an amazing pro-style offense, which would certainly utilize olineman, TEs, and RBs. He also managed to put the last two starting quarterbacks in the league (although as backups). That's pretty hard to do with the way wisconsin runs things.
In regards to why i posted, i'm always interested in B1G recruiting. The badgers inexplicably suck at recruiting (rankings wise) olineman. I'm sure some of those 2/3 stars will turn into 1st rounders and nfl starters, but you still expect the success to pay off on the recruiting trail. Just found the comment out of whack.

Well their feeling on Johnson can't be strong, its more hopeful that a good visit puts them in the running. Certainly at this time OSU knows they're 3rd place at best, so naturally they are preparing if Johnson goes elsewhere...which I'm sure they know is likely. So its not like this offer is an indication of anything.

I'll be concerned with OSU's chances if he pushes back his decision date after his visit there. If he decides in June/July, OSU is not an option....
