Penn State hosted one of the top offensive linemen in the Class of 2013 on Saturday, as Dorian Johnson made the trip up from Belle Vernon to check out the Blue-White game.

About as good as can be expected...
Glad he got to interact with all the committed guys. Hopefully they exchanged some numbers and can continue to get comfortable with the guys.
Same hopefully goes for DW, Gray, Lemelle and others

Can't wait to hear how grey visit went. Does anyone think that puts pressure on Johnson. Or would we take both? Johnson seems like he on a level where if he wants to come we find room

No way. Johnson is #1 and is deciding sooner. Gray wants to decide at an All-Star game and that may be best because he may not even qualify academically. Johnson has his spot in this class whenever he wants to take it, period.

I think that the staff should take both. I think Gray would be better suited at Guard (or even DT), while Johnson is a Tackle the whole way.

Without having seen true film on Gray, since it really isn't available except to coaches, his frame and camp reviews scream OT. He's built nearly the same as DJ, and very athletic as well. Those are tackles imo

I saw the tiny bit of his high school film and then i saw a couple clips from him in a Nike Football Camp...he didn't seem to have the quickness that i think tackles need to have. I personally think that he would be better suited to be an offensive guard.

Yeah I saw a couple of clips from one of the camps as well. No tenough for me to really take a firm position on. The reviews is what I am reading, and his frame of course. I'd like to see more of him before I totally disagree or agree.

Oh I absolutely agree. Plus if you take guys with OT frames, they can likely move down to OG. You don't turn down Gray in any scenario, imo.

I was able to shake Greys hand after the game, made me feel like i was a little kid again.
Getting Johnson and him on board should be on the top of Hacks to do list.

Man Rivals is terrible in evaluations. They have Dorian ranked 33 offensive tackle.
You find out life's this game of inches, so is football. Because in either game, life or football-the margin for error is so small. -Pacino

Hack already spent the weekend feeding Bear (I like it) and Nelson. i am sure some donuts and nachos and cokes found their way over to Gray and Johnson today. Hack knows how to show us big fellas some love.

Kyle Turley must love Dorian Johnson too, as he was involved in the oline evaluations on 247.
