Is this kind of like "I wished we had played ____ more?" Because those don't sound sincere either.

I have defended Joe Pa on the Vols board today, as I don't truly feel that he did anything wrong. He handled the complaints as any of us would in his position. He probably should have pushed the issue more, but we would all want to believe that our superiors would do the right things in that situation.
My statement about him coaching the last game was meant as a concern for how the media will play it out, or how it will be perceived by the rest of the country.
On the other hand, he is Penn State and as far as I know has always represented the university with class and dignity. He rightfully should have the opportunity to receive the proper show of appreciation for his contributions.

Not trying to do that. Sorry if it came across that way. In Tennessee life is just very simple, You know the story....old trucks, hunting dogs, moonshine, and sad country songs. It just came across that way to me
