    I think this week the QB rotation will be mostly as the game goes on. We went into Alabama with the idea that we would go a couple series then let Mac go a couple of series. I may second guess myself, because Bolden threw the ball really well early. I intend to play both of them.

  • The dropped passes are concentration, it's a question of confidence, that's a tough question to answer. A couple of those kids made some great catches in practice. We're not playing as well as we can play, I think. I told you guys 100 times that I'm reluctant to take something away from the other guys. Alabama is a good, solid football team.

  • Temple and Al went out and did a really good job recruiting. They didn't have a lot of luck the first year. He didn't panic, and they stayed with the things that they believed in. He got some kids stronger and quicker and more knowledgable about their play. Now they've got a solid squad.

    We met with Steve Addazzio and Todd Graham and I was impressed with both of those guys. They're good. When you see the game, you'll know what I'm talking about.

    So, if by chance PSU was leading Alabama with Bolden under center and he was holding his own, Joe was going to make a change regardless? I just don't get that as being logical thinking.

    Was it more recruiting for Golden, or did Golden put kids in positions to succeed and DEVELOP them? He has talent, but as we all know, some of those talented kids never work out.

  • I hope I'm going to be on the sidelines this week. I wanted to do it Saturday but I wasn't quick enough to get out of the way. I have a lot of pain after I walk a while. It gets sore, but I'm hoping that I'll be able to do it Saturday. I'm optimistic but I'm not positive.

    Great way to send a message to your team. A makable fourth down in Bama territory ... what do you gain from punting when you are down 21 points or so at that point?

    Right now I think it's a toss up, I think both have done well.

    It's easy to pick out someone and blame them, but I think both quarterbacks have played well enough for us to win with. I'm reluctant to tell anyone that this guy is ready to start, because it would look like the other guy hadn't looked good.

    When you get into that, you're going against a tough team, you're in an uphill battle all the time.

    'We've got two quarterbacks as we talk now, whether we have two quarterbacks a week from now, we'll see.'

    Sean, thanks for the updates, i think you may have misquoted Joe

    first paragraphy should read

    I think he talked himself out of the first comments made regarding the QB. First sentence looked promising for starting to settle on 1 then it seems more vague as things go on(with regards to the topic in the pressor).

    Still hoping by playing 2 it is let Bolden roll through the first half and start the second...hopefully a lead...2 series into the 3rd feeling comfortable let MM finish.

    Of course, I have more respect for Temple than many, so wont be counting on that so much as hoping for it. Have the talent to do so, but need to execute of course.

    losing by 16 at home is embarrassing to me, anyway. Being that was probably Joe's goal in the fourth quarter is borderline criminal. . WE ARE PENN STATE! or we used to be

  • Hopefully he is just spinning the public and telling the kids and staff something else because this is becoming a laughing stock and a runaway train right now. What future quarterback wants to go through this circus and commit here? He did not give Rob an equal chance last year? Why the 5 game audition for McGloin?
