Westville (N.J.) West Deptford rising junior Gerald Owens has already made it onto the radar of a few schools despite being a 2014 prospect.

In my opinion "G" has the skills to play tailback at the next level. All schools are recruiting him at tailback. I just had a college scout say to me this week that 'G" reminds him of Ron Dayne all over again. And yes Gerald Owens is his name. Penn State really caught his eye a few weeks ago, Rutgers and Boston College have already offered with verbals, Rutgers was fun also.

Seems like a great kid, obviously a heck of ball player... check this link, I love that he wrote this himself, and that his biggest dream is graduating college and getting a good education. This is a PSU kid...

Just watched his highlights. Kid can BALL. Sign me up as a fan. He can play RB... If he keeps hitting the weights and learns to play in his body (his highlights are as a SOPH for crying out loud) he will be a stud big back... Great feet and quickness for a guy that big, carries the ball high naturally (one would think he rarely fumbles). We could use a guy like that to be thunder to another lightning (maybe Williams). Big backs dont grow on trees, and this kid can accelerate and break tackles. Either side of the ball, you offer him and hope Pollard and him are buddies.
