I think the one thing Jay didnt shut down well enough with fact is what actually happened in 1998. He sort of touched on it by saying you cant just go accuse someone of something without knowing the facts. But he could have emphasized to Golic that property authorities investigated the incident and found no wrong-doing. At that point, what do you want people to do? For all intensive purposes, AT THAT TIME, there was no incident.

Did ESPN legally do what it was supposed to do with the Bernie Fine tape?
Golic is trying to disregard Jay by simply saying that is his case (Joe did what was the legal course) and questioning the moral basis of that.

This is why we can't win back the public perception. Gasbags like this leprechaun loving fool are allowed to be on the public airwaves and spew false words like they were factual truths. I've long ago given up caring what the outside world thinks. Jay will have to show alot of restraint at that hellhole today. In the end, we know what Joe stood for and how he lived his life. That's enough for me.

I just wrote to Golic:
"I usually think you are very level-headed. However, it is VERY clear you have not read the report. Specifically, YOU MUST READ THE CLEMENTE REPORT. That will educate you as to why your comments this morning show how unprepared you are. By not reading it, you are doing yourself a disservice!
Maybe reading it won't change your mind. But, you will be able to speak intelligently about WHY alternative findings make so much sense."

Golic should already know that if was cleared. At the very least he should know that j s was never arrested. He is an embarrassment who shouldn't even be allowed to discuss the issue. If i went to a meeting at work that ill prepared i would be fired.

I listened to the entire segment at work and must say that Jay did a really good job. Golic really let his unintelligence and hatred for Penn State show during and after the segment.
